The wind has stopped, and only a slight breeze moves across the sand. The seagulls make a noise, glad that the storm is over. The rocks are their sanctuary from the wind and the rain. The sea is quiet now and the waves move quietly just touching the rocks. A small baby whale moves ever so slowly on the beach, alone and afraid, missing its mother. She thinks her life is over. A small tear comes to her eye as she listens to the noise above. Will she survive? Who knows, the mother might have to leave without her as the tide won’t change for a while.
